The Jamaica Council for Persons with Disabilities (JCPD) seeks to recruit an individual consultant / Firm for the preparation of a Code of Practice for Public Passenger Vehicles (PPV’s). The consultant/firm should be a Policy Development Specialist with strong research skills and previous research experience on access to services for persons with disabilities. The Consultant will provide technical and policy information in the preparation of the draft Code of Practice as well as prepare the Code in respect of Public Passenger Vehicles (PPV’s).

A complete set of Bidding Documents including a full Terms of Reference in English will be available for download as at Wednesday, December 14, 2022 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm. Bidders MUST be registered on the GOJEP system in order to access the bidding documents and participate in the tender.  Registration can be done by following instructions listed on the website at www.gojep.gov.jm.

Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days after bid closing date.

Bid Submission and & Opening:

Bids must be submitted online via the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm no later than Friday, January 06, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. or 13:00 hrs.  Online Bid Opening will take place on Friday, January 06, 2023 at 1:15 p.m. or 13:15 p.m.  An online Bid Opening Report will be sent to all bidders.  Late submissions will be rejected by the system automatically.
