Be Careful of Farm Work Scams
The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has become aware that a ring of unscrupulous persons, presenting themselves as employees of the Ministry, have been fleecing unsuspecting persons of Hundreds of Thousands of dollars, with offers of placing them on the Farm Work Programme. The ring is reportedly operating in Manchester and Kingston.
The Ministry is advising members of the public that there are no costs associated with the Farm Work application process.
Persons who have paid money for these services are being advised to report the matter to the Police.
