Injured Farm Worker Assigned Lawyer
The Jamaican Liaison Service has moved apace to hire an attorney-at-law in Canada to take legal actions on behalf of a 30-year-old farm worker from Westmoreland, who was hit from his pedal cycle by an impaired driver (drunken driver) on October 15, 2023.
The farm worker sustained injuries including a leg injury that required surgery. He has since been released from hospital.
The liaison service is in contact with both the worker and his family and will continue to closely monitor this situation.
